General information only

Everything published here, from the service pages and price ranges to the FAQs and summaries of state rules, should be treated as general information. It does not amount to advice of a medical, legal or insurance kind, and it cannot replace an on-site assessment. Houses differ in how they are built and water finds its way into each one differently, so the right course for your building is decided once it has been seen, not from a web page.

Price ranges are estimates

Where the site shows price ranges, on the cost page for example, they are estimates drawn from earlier jobs and meant to help with budgeting. An actual quote for a St. George job may fall within the published range, or above or below it, according to the scope, how easy the area is to reach, the materials involved and market conditions when the quote is written. The written scope produced after the on-site visit is the document that sets the price.

Who does the work, and which papers bind it

St. George Mold Remediation arranges mold and water-damage work in the City of St. George; it does not inspect or remove mold itself. La. R.S. 37:2158(A)(23) prevents one company from both assessing and remediating mold on the same property, so the assessment is done by an independent firm and any removal by a separate remediation contractor. Requesting a quote books the on-site assessment, and a written scope and price follow. What the work covers, its cost and any terms about the work once it is finished are written into the contract you sign for it. This website neither adds terms to that contract nor replaces it.

State and parish regulations

References on this site to state or parish regulations, permits and similar requirements are condensed summaries, given for orientation. Regulations are amended over time, and the state or parish office responsible for one is the authoritative source on it. Confirm what currently applies to your job with that regulator.

Outcomes are not pledged

No page on this website pledges any outcome, timetable, credential, cost or availability. How a mold job turns out rests heavily on things nobody arranging it can control: for instance, whether the homeowner gets the moisture source repaired, how the people living there use the building afterwards, and structural conditions. There is no remediation firm anywhere that can honestly rule out regrowth.
