AI Disclosure
St. George Mold Remediation uses artificial intelligence in a few places: the voice assistant that answers its phone line, drafting help for some of the text on this website, and some of the illustrations. This page names each use plainly, describes the kinds of AI system involved, and lists the jobs AI is kept away from.

You have a right to know when AI plays a part in what you read or in a service you use. So this page names the areas where it is used and the classes of AI system behind each one, leaving you to decide on full information.
The phone line is answered by AI
When you ring (225) 285-3983, the voice you hear belongs to an AI voice assistant, not a human being. It is operated through an outside voice-AI provider. The assistant asks for your name, your phone number, the address of the property and what is wrong there, and it collects those details so that a call back can follow. For that reason a call may be recorded and a transcript made of it.
Anyone who prefers not to talk to an automated system has two other ways in: the callback form on this page, or an email to contact@stgeorgemoldremediation.com.
Text on the website (large language models)
Parts of the explanatory text here, including service pages, cost breakdowns, FAQ answers, summaries of regulations and general descriptions of how a job runs, are first drafted with the assistance of LLMs (large language models). These are AI systems that write text by predicting each next token from what came before; Claude (Anthropic), GPT (OpenAI) and Gemini (Google) are examples. Which model or provider is used can change as the tools change.
A human editor reviews every LLM-drafted passage before it goes live. The models serve as an aid to drafting and research, they never have the last word on a page, and they are given none of the personal information that callers or form users supply.
Images (generative AI)
Some illustrative pictures on the site may be produced or touched up with generative image tools, models in the FLUX family for example. A generated illustration is never presented as a photograph of a particular finished project. If a property sale or an insurance claim calls for photographs of a real completed job, ask, and photographs from the job file will be supplied.
Jobs AI is kept away from
St. George Mold Remediation arranges the work but does not inspect or remove mold itself. Under La. R.S. 37:2158(A)(23) the assessment and the remediation at a property have to come from different companies, so an independent assessment firm visits first and a separate remediation contractor does any removal. Within that arrangement:
- Findings on site are human work. People at the assessment firm carry out every assessment; the moisture readings, thermal images, visual checks and lab-tested samples are theirs, not AI output.
- Written scopes and quotes are written by the people who visited the property. AI does not put a price on your job.
- Reports for your insurance adjuster are prepared by a person, from what was found on site.
- No AI system on this side decides whether you are served, what you are charged or when the work happens, and there is no hidden algorithmic pricing.
Why this is disclosed up front
More and more, consumer-protection law at federal and state level requires AI involvement in commercial content and services to be disclosed. The Federal Trade Commission's position is that failing to disclose material use of AI may amount to deception. Rather than stop at the bare legal minimum, this page discloses broadly and in detail. If any page or exchange on this site involves AI without saying so, and you think it ought to, email contact@stgeorgemoldremediation.com and the page will be revised to cover it.
Reaching the business without the assistant
If at any point you would rather not deal with the automated assistant, write to contact@stgeorgemoldremediation.com or send the callback form.
